A national childcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee operations in Redhill Surrey. The role includes a 50/50 split of managerial and shift time, with a focus on providing care to children aged 7 to 17 who have experienced trauma. The Service Users: 4 Bedroom age 7 to 17 on admission from trauma backgrounds

Promotion & Progression: Path to Registered Manager: 70% of current Registered Managers were Deputy Managers and have been promoted. Further Career Growth: Multiple opportunities for Regional and Senior Regional roles. Promotion Trend: Regional Managers often promoted from Registered Managers.
Managerial / On-Shift Time: 50 / 50 split (20 hours each; 40 hours / week 173 hours / month).
Overtime: Paid.
Salary: 33337 - 37800 for 40 hours (50 per sleep completed).
Additional Pay:

Christmas Shopping: ½ day paid annual leave.
Maternity Leave: 8 full weeks paid 12 weeks at half pay.

Training:
Management Training: Available to Deputy Managers includes 2 courses with 6 leadership and management modules.
Staff Support: Extensive and relevant training for career development with a supportive management team.
Qualifications: Level 5 and 7 funded
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Residential Childcare with young people.
Age: At least 22 years old (childrens homes regulations).
Driving: A valid driving licence is required.
