Job description
Overview

We are a small but growing team and looking to expand in order to progress all ICT related integration projects and meet increasing demand for design of integration across increasing number of clinical systems across the NWL sector.

Responsibilities
  • This position will support day to day Integration queries, project activities, creation of design documentation, feasibility analysis, conversation with various stakeholders including suppliers and other teams within ICT i.e. Project/ Change management and counterparts from other sectors.
  • The Deputy Integration Architect will work closely with the Integration Architect to understand ICT Systems Architecture requirements and act as a subject matter expert to design solutions for integration, interoperability and interfacing within the wider organisation.
  • Ensure that new or replacement systems properly integrate with other Trust systems and are aligned with Trust business needs and strategy.
  • Find opportunities for efficiencies when designing technical solutions to assist the Trust in reducing the total cost of ownership of ICT systems.
  • Have made significant contribution to the ICT Systems Programme, improving the flexibility and efficiency of systems integration.
  • Have taken an active role in the design, documentation and deployment of integration and interoperability solutions based on Trust tactical and strategic interoperability patterns. The scope of this includes enhancement/extension of existing solutions as well as new proposals.
  • Have effectively participated in the promotion and utilisation of Trust strategic healthcare architectures, technology standards and platforms for interoperability in support of multiple applications. These are expected to include interoperability with the wider regional and national healthcare community as well as internal solutions.
