We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Head of Construction to join our team, and play a key role in driving excellence across our 16-18 curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, inspire and make a real difference in the lives of our learners. As Deputy Head, you will be vital in ensuring high-quality teaching, learner success, and curriculum development that meets the evolving needs of the Construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Curriculum in the delivery and development of a 16-18 curriculum
  • Provide leadership for the development and delivery of engaging and relevant materials to support a high standard of teaching and learning
  • Be the direct line manager for staff within the area, and support the Head of Curriculum with aspects of staff management
  • Monitor the Curriculum area's performance against Key Performance Indicators
Qualifications
  • Curriculum relevant Level 4 or professional qualification of an equivalent level; PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • GCSE A-C / 9-4 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • A management qualification or equivalent training is desirable but not essential
