This role is to support place based arrangements and therefore is aligned to a locality, although there is likely to be rotation in the team at some point in 2026.
The postholder will be exposed to working at a strategic level within the BNSSG system, closely supported by the Designated statutory roles for Children and Adults. As it is an all-age role, the postholder will also be encouraged to attend training events to upskill in any areas that they are not familiar with as it is recognised that practitioners may have particular expertise in either children\'s or adult\'s safeguarding.
This role will offer coaching and managerial support to the Named and Specialist Practitioners within the ICB Safeguarding Team, including providing expert safeguarding advice when necessary, therefore previous managerial experience is vital.
