About the Role:

As our Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and improving the day-to-day operations of our domiciliary and complex care service. You will work closely with the Care Manager to ensure compliance, drive quality, and maintain the person-centred care we’re proud to provide.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Assisting in the day-to-day management of our domiciliary and complex care service
  • Supervising and motivating the care team to deliver high‑quality, person-centred care
  • Conducting care assessments, creating tailored care plans, and monitoring care delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and relevant health, safety, and safeguarding regulations
  • Performing audits, spot checks, and service user reviews to maintain high-quality care
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and staff development to build a skilled and confident care team
  • Handling client and family concerns sensitively, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Participating in on-call duties to manage emergencies and ensure service continuity
  • Conducting care calls as required to stay familiar with client needs and build strong relationships
  • Attending on-site visits and providing clinical care to support complex care packages
What We Need From You:
  • Complex care experience is a must
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (essential)
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a care management or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and care legislation
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and service audits
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • IT literacy and familiarity with care systems (e.g., People Planner, Assess Care Planning)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
