Position: Deputy Care Manager

Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for an Experienced Deputy Care Manager in the Huddersfield area on a permanent basis. The position the Experienced Deputy Care Manage will need to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person centred care to all residents.

The Deputy Care Manager will be responsible for :

  • Provide strong leadership to the care team, promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and excellence.
  • Ensure the care home operates in full compliance with CQC standards and other relevant legislation.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Oversea safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and risk management within the home.

The Deputy Care Manager will need :

  • Proven experience in working as a Senior or Deputy Manager in a care home or similar care setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding protocols, and best practice in elderly or specialist care
  • Experience in working with adults with Learning Disabilities
