Are you looking for a rewarding career? If you are a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking to progress your career, then this could be the role for you. We are recruiting for a Deputy Care Manager at our CQC registered service in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • As a Deputy Care Manager, you will support the Registered Care Manager in providing high-quality, personalised care to individuals.
  • Direct care: 15 hours of direct support as a Support Worker.
  • Office/management: 22.5 hours for staff management tasks, such as creating rotas and mentoring Support Workers.
Service & role requirements
  • 5-bed home, 5 people supported.
  • Supports individuals with vision/hearing difficulties and communication challenges and complex needs.
  • Full UK manual licence essential—company vehicles are used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
  • Prior experience of working in a Social Care setting such as Community/Residential/Supported Living is essential.
  • Knowledge of multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities is desirable.
