Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for a deputy manager for our client's 38 bedded Residential Home in Sunderland which provides care and support to those of old age and those who suffer from conditions such as dementia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements, including knowledge of CQC standards.
• Manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager; lead the care team and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Develop and monitor care plans, oversee staffing, maintain quality assurance activities and audits.

Qualifications

• NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care are essential, with Level 4/5 qualifications desired.
• Good knowledge of CQC compliance is essential.
• Previous experience managing within a Care Home setting is desirable.
• Experience working with the elderly and those with dementia is desirable.
