Position: Dental Tutor Assessor

Location: Remote with occasional travel required to conduct learner observations

Salary: Up to £30,000 plus our going for gold bonus of up to £4000

As a Tutor/Assessor you will:

• Carry out regular online and workplace assessments for Apprenticeship or standalone Diploma learners.
• Ensure the correct completion of all assessment paperwork.
• Provide quality feedback to learners in a timely manner.
• Manage your own diary to ensure maximum assessment opportunity.
• Carry our learner progress reviews with learners and their employer.
• Support and prepare learners for their dental tests.
• To promote and comply with all current and future equal opportunities, health and safety and safeguarding legislative requirements.

What qualification we need from you:

• Minimum Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, V1, D32/D33)
• Active GDC (General Dental Council) Registration
• Minimum Level 3 Training Qualification (AET, PTTLS or equivalent would be advantageous)
• Qualified Dental Nurse

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in assessing Dental Apprenticeships or Diplomas.
• Experience in teaching/delivering national diploma or advanced apprenticeships.
• Experienced Dental Nurse.
• Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively both in person and remotely with learners, clients and employers.
• Ability to work independently and part of a wider remote based team.
• IT literate - with effective use of MS Office.
• Flexible approach and ability to work remote and travel when required to meet the needs of the learner and business.
