Job Title: Van Driver and Warehouse Operative

Location: Salford Quays

Work Pattern: 37.5 Hours • Monday – Friday 8:00 – 18:30 / 8:00 – 18:00 for driving days; 9:00 – 15:00 for warehousing days

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent • Reporting To: Logistics Manager

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting a reliable and safety‑conscious Driver & Warehouse Operative to join a logistics team based in Salford Quays. The successful candidate will transport goods and equipment between sites, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures
• Load and unload items with care, ensuring proper handling
• Keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained, reporting any issues promptly
• Warehouse duties: collate bulk orders for delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK driver’s licence (maximum of 3 penalty points)
• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is desirable
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Physically able to handle goods of varying sizes and weights safely
