Delivery Driver

Our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in our operation, providing a reliable and committed delivery service across 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. With plenty of parcels to keep you busy, there is no better time to join Yodel.

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers you'll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don’t need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

• Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect — Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn anything between £18 - £20p/h (paid per parcel).
• We’re in the business of delivering promises as well as parcels; we’re raising our game and giving you more reasons to join us. All our rates are competitively enhanced, taking business mileage and operational costs into consideration.
• Daily & Weekly Payment Options — Yodel offers flexible payment options to Self Employed delivery drivers, allowing you to access earnings from the very next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or join the weekly payment cycle after 4 weeks of completed delivery services.
• Both payment options enable you to receive more regular payments for the delivery services you have provided.
• We have plenty of parcels that need delivering and collecting from stores — Parcels weigh up to 15kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour depending on area and experience, for 6 days a week. The more you deliver, the more you earn, with the opportunity to take more parcels and boost revenue.
• We’ll give you freedom and flexibility — Plan your own route or use our app with built-in optimisation to plan routes and liaise with customers.
• We’ll offer regular work in the same area, 6 days a week — We deliver for major retailers, with opportunities to stay local and get to know roads and customers.
• We’ll develop and support you — Independence of being self-employed plus backing of our expert team and a Yodel representative to answer questions.

The Life of a Core Delivery Driver

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route, keeping things fresh. At each delivery or doorstep, use your mobile to scan parcels and ensure they’re safely received by the customer. We can arrange parcel collection times daily or, for rural areas, drop-off options.
