Qualifications

  • Full‑time hours – 40 hours per week.
  • Typical working days are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday.

About you as a Decontamination Lead

The decontamination room is the hub that keeps the whole practice running smoothly. This is more than a backroom role – you’ll be the go‑to expert for decontamination and infection control, ensuring every instrument and piece of equipment is ready for safe patient care. Qualifications & Skills
  • Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Specialised decontamination training is desirable
  • A positive attitude, empathy and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
  • Passion for building great relationships with patients and colleagues and providing exceptional standards of care

A Decontamination Lead is vital to our dental team, ensuring the safety and well‑being of both patients and staff by maintaining high standards of infection control and decontamination practices. Substantial experience in a dental setting, including chairside assistance and infection‑control areas, is crucial, as is an understanding of relevant guidelines such as HTM 01–05.
