A global food manufacturer based in East London is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their production and packaging team. Our client is an established food manufacturer, part of a larger global group, with multiple sites worldwide. Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for a new maintenance engineer to join their production & packaging team.

Role & Responsibilities

Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery, conveyors, metal detectors, labellers, baggers, checkweighers, PLC's, control panels, robotics, depositors

Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns & overhauls

Working on motors, gearboxes, VSD's, inverters, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, bearings

Improving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement work

Monitor contractors on site, ordering spares & parts

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
