Overview

Data PDA Engagement Manager (Strategy & Growth DC Exit Bid). 6 Month contract initially. Hybrid work pattern – up to 2 days per week in Telford. Rate: £475 - £495 per day (via Umbrella company).

We have a great opportunity with a world-leading organisation. You will be supported to succeed, with a role that can make a real difference. We are looking for an Engagement Manager to support the DC Exit Bid.

You will operate as a servant-leader to individuals on assignment to your team, providing appropriate support and enabling an empowered, self-managing team. You will help the team agree shared goals and objectives that comply with UPM, the Bluebook and MU requirements, and are based on best-practice project management, delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality.

The role benefits someone with DC exit experience, apps modernisation and migration experience, and a commercial perspective to assist with pricing and delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of programmes and projects assigned to the team, to the agreed time, cost and quality.
  • Work with and coach the team to help them create high-quality products.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure responsibilities for all project work are understood and fulfilled.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of cloud and DevOps with a can-do attitude to grow this new area of the business.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Experience working as an Engagement Manager, managing platforms and/or integration projects.
  • Proven leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships.
  • Flexibility to balance priorities across multiple tasks; ability to work independently and with the client.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • The following are advantageous but not essential: Understanding of agile delivery techniques (e.g., Continuous Delivery/Integration, Test Driven Development) and related tooling; Professional Scrum Master Qualification; experience in infrastructure migration and application modernisation/migration projects.
