The Data Insights team plays a central role in transforming data into actionable intelligence that empowers confident decision‑making, identifies new opportunities, and drives operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Management Lead a team of data visualization developers and analysts, providing guidance and mentorship and supporting career growth through coaching and development plans. Set clear goals and expectations, ensuring alignment with broader D&A and business strategies. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development. Manage resource allocation and prioritization across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Act as a key point of contact for day‑to‑day data and analytics needs. Communicate effectively at all levels across the organisation, translating technical insights into business‑relevant messages.
  • Insight Delivery & Reporting Oversee the maintenance and development of reports, dashboards, and data products that deliver clear, actionable insights. Ensure outputs meet high standards of quality, consistency, and usability. Champion best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and metric design.
  • Strategic Enablement Collaborate with technical teams to inform upstream data quality, architecture, and governance, and development of new data products. Minimize manual workarounds and technical debt by aligning reporting needs with data infrastructure. Support the design and implementation of a centralized insights catalogue to improve discoverability and usage of data assets.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in data and analytics roles within the (re)insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Deep understanding of insurance data and the MI needs of functional teams including Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims and Finance.
  • Expertise in designing impactful reports and visualizations.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI).
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in US, Bermuda, and UK insurance markets.
  • Strong knowledge of actuarial concepts and analytics.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power BI and other visualization platforms.
