Job summary

A leading UK financial services company seeks a Data Engineer to develop Power BI solutions and enhance its Azure data platform. The role requires expertise in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and SQL, with a primary focus on developing dashboards and ETL pipelines. Candidates should have a strong background in data engineering or BI development, and experience in a regulated industry is desirable. Qualifications

• Strong experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory ETL pipelines.
• Good SQL skills for analytics and optimisation.
• Experience using Git and Azure DevOps in Agile teams.
• 24 years experience in a Data Engineering or BI Development role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX.
• Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Work with Azure Synapse Analytics on modelling and optimisation.
• Support adoption and migration to Microsoft Fabric.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting.
