A leading healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking a Data Coordinator to join its Haematology and Teenage and Young Adult Service. Responsibilities include managing and analyzing clinical data, ensuring data accuracy for national audits, and producing reports for the Haematology Directorate. Ideal candidates will have strong IT skills, especially in Excel, and attention to detail. A science or statistics degree is preferred. The Christie is pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for a suitably experienced individual to join the Haematology and Teenage and Young Adult Service (TYA) to take on a role as Data Coordinator. Based at the Withington site, you will be a valued member of the Haematology and TYA quality team and work alongside the data coordinator. Your role will involve data management, data analysis and reporting, audit and other duties as assigned to you. This post will work closely with and be supported by the Quality Officer, and Quality Manager and will work alongside one Data Coordinator. We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual who is able to work well independently but also as part of a team. You must have good attention to detail, you must ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of the work undertaken so that it meets the standards of quality expected within a leading Haematology centre. You must be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills and a high level of competency in all Microsoft packages, especially Excel and the use of databases. Although not essential, a science, mathematical or statistical related degree would be advantageous. If you have experience in working within clinical audit, information systems and quality management then you are the right person to consider joining the quality team within the Haematology and TYA directorate.
