Overview

Data Centre Technician - Up to £45,000
Location: West London
Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday - 13:00-21:00 and Saturdays 09:00-17:00

My client is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking tech team, delivering high-impact services across multiple UK data centre sites.

Responsibilities
  • Complex cable management and structured cabling.
  • Racking, stacking, and patching of Servers and Switches.
  • Supporting a range of hardware and peripherals.
  • Troubleshooting issues and documenting tasks clearly.
  • Following and improving established operational processes.
  • Supporting the deployment and operation of high-availability infrastructure.
  • Working with fibre optics and transceivers.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Hands-on experience in data centre environments.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of hardware support and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable - comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
