You will develop a culture of innovation in the data and analytics team by leveraging new AI capabilities in our Tableau and Snowflake platforms. You will embed a culture of matrix working across the individual business analytics teams and the Analytics Centre of Excellence.

You will drive value‑based prioritisation and end‑to‑end delivery by assessing the business impact of different data, analytics & insights and product solutions, and the trade‑offs between customer needs, technology requirements and costs, including total cost of ownership.

You will be passionate about mentoring and inspiring agile teams, managing performance, and the goals and development of two direct reports.

We offer this role on a permanent basis, working on a mainly remote basis, a competitive salary, 25‑day holiday with the opportunity to purchase up to 5 days, 7.5% pension and individual private health insurance.

What your impact will be:
  • Acts as a connector across regions and markets in the development and execution of data and tech roadmap.
  • Ensures learnings and use‑cases are shared and executed from one market to another.
  • Supports the development and drives the global data and tech strategic roadmap.
  • Leads the Analytics team, orchestrating their timely outputs to clients.
  • Sets the foundations for excellence in advanced analytics via standardisation, data infrastructure & business modelling.
  • Ensures the continuous flow of rich & timely data, laying the foundations for excellence in reporting & optimisation and accelerating the transition from descriptive analytics to prescriptive analytics.
  • Moves the client into more advanced audience targeting and segmentation using more advanced techniques.
  • Direct line manager for analytics Lead, Data Sciences, Audience Insights and reporting leads, setting their objectives and managing their outputs while nurturing their development.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Experience in enterprise data analytics, reporting, and data products.
  • Master’s degree (M.A., M.S. or MBA) in information technology, computer science, economics, statistics, engineering or related field.
  • Experience in large‑scale software development with emphasis on data analytics and high‑volume data processing.
  • Leadership experience in leading cross‑functional, highly analytical and technical teams and enterprise‑wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts.
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques such as factor analysis, predictive modelling, logistic regression, cluster analysis, segmentation, attitudinal/motivational analysis, concept/copy testing, sales forecasting, response prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, marketing mix and ROI measurement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and principles of Scrum and Kanban and how they’re applied in workplace culture.
  • Meaningful experience in data warehousing, dimensional modelling and the ability to bring best practices with regard to data management, ETL, API integrations, and data governance.
  • Proven ability to respond to and prioritise changing business demands effectively.
  • Experience leveraging interpersonal, presentation and communication skills in communicating progress on near‑term and mid‑term plans to users and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in best design and implementation practices in data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of various database management systems such as SQL or Snowflake and proficiency with large data sets.
  • Able to demonstrate complex critical thinking and creative problem solving with measurable business impact.
  • Experience addressing current and future customer needs through innovative solutions.
  • Some ad hoc travel to UK sites as required (Sheffield or Solihull).
