Data Administrator
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

The Opportunity

A rapidly growing consultancy in the energy and carbon sector is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Data Administrator to join their team based in South Manchester. This is a great opportunity to become part of a dynamic organisation that partners with a diverse range of industrial and commercial clients, supporting them in achieving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and meeting regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain client profiles in internal systems
  • Collect, process, and analyse energy usage and billing data
  • Upload and manage utility invoices and consumption records
  • Communicate with utility providers to resolve billing discrepancies and recover credits or refunds
  • Collaborate with clients and third parties to collect additional business-related data
  • Support the team in delivering data-driven solutions to clients
  • Ensure client information is accurate and consistently updated across platforms

Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the energy sector, particularly with a TPI, broker, or utility supplier, is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organisational abilities
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
