Job description
Overview

Our wonderful clients in Notting Hill are seeking an experienced, proactive and nurturing Daily Nanny/PA to join their busy household and provide consistent support for their two children, aged 8 and 6. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, reliable professional who thrives in a structured family environment and enjoys combining hands-on childcare with organisational PA duties.

Responsibilities
  • Providing attentive, calm and structured care for both children, ensuring their routines and activities run smoothly.
  • School runs (walking distance for G6, school bus for B8) and support with after-school activities for the younger child.
  • Planning and organising age-appropriate, engaging activities - from creative play to sports and outdoor adventures.
  • Encouraging good manners, etiquette, and positive behaviour with a kind yet firm approach.
  • Preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children.
  • Overseeing homework and developmental support.
  • Assisting with light PA/household tasks, especially during school hours (household admin, diary support, travel logistics).
  • Travelling with the family (including extended stays in their home in the South of France).
  • Providing occasional proxy parenting when parents are away on business.
  • This role offers a balanced schedule - part-time hours during term time and full-time during school holidays - making it an excellent position for someone who is highly organised, flexible, and able to adapt smoothly to the family's needs.
  • Organised, proactive and calm, with a tidy-as-you-go approach.
  • A natural communicator, able to collaborate effectively with parents.
  • Active and energetic, enjoying the outdoors, sports, and fresh-air activities.
  • Experienced in supporting children's developmental stages.
  • Confident cooking with fresh ingredients.
  • Flexible and travel-ready, with a positive, adaptable outlook.
  • PA experience (or willingness to assist with household admin) highly desirable.
  • A driver, French or Spanish speaker would be a bonus - but not essential.
  • Competitive salary (££££), depending on credentials and experience.
  • A long-term, stable role with a welcoming family.
  • Opportunity for international travel, including extended summers abroad.
  • A fulfilling position that balances childcare with household management.
