We're expanding our internal D365 platform capability and need someone who can sit between business and IT, take ownership of requirements, support delivery across builds, and help drive adoption of standard functionality and automation. Core responsibilities (what they'll actually do day to day)

This person will:

  • Act as a functional analyst across D365 Finance & Operations (Finance-first focus)
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT to:
    • Gather and clarify requirements
    • Assess business impact
    • Recommend standard D365 solutions over customisation
  • Support build cycles:
    • Ticket refinement
    • Functional validation
    • Test coordination
  • Help drive platform growth and adoption:
    • Feature enablement (Feature Management, Release Waves)
    • Process improvements
    • Light documentation and user guidance
  • Collaborate on Power Platform solutions:
    • Power Automate (approvals, notifications, reporting flows)
    • Power Apps (simple business apps, forms, trackers)
  • Be a calm, organised presence in a complex, global environment
Key skills & experience (what good looks like)
Must-haves
  • Hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations (Finance modules strongly preferred: AP, AR, GL, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets)
  • Strong functional analysis skills - can translate business needs into system behaviour
  • Experience working in build/release cycles
  • Confident communicator with non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable juggling multiple workstreams without panic
Nice-to-haves (not deal breakers)
  • Exposure to Power Platform (especially Power Automate)
