A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join the Cheshire and Merseyside Adolescent Eating Disorder Service. Job description

Vacancy at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist (experienced or newly qualified) for the Cheshire and Merseyside Adolescent Eating Disorder Service (CHEDS) – a regional outpatient/inpatient service offering evidence‑based treatment approaches to 13‑18 year olds and their families/carers.

The successful candidate will participate in the delivery of specialist inpatient interventions, consult with eating disorder community teams, and contribute to service development. The post is part‑time and based at the integrated eating disorder unit at Ancora House.

Planned shortlist date 6 Jan, interview 21 Jan.

Applicants should possess a post‑graduate or doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology and can be experienced or nearing completion of clinical training. Band 7, rising to Band 8a after successful completion of the developmental role.

  • Post‑graduate or doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Experience with adolescents and eating disorders preferred; newly qualified clinicians encouraged.
  • Capacity to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
