Overview

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our rapidly-growing OT cyber security company. Working to the Managing Director, you will run our sales system, maximise the engagement of our engineers on the ground with current and potential clients to assess needs and propose solutions, leading tenders and closing deals.

Role
  • Supervising, managing and enhancing our sales system
  • Developing relevant procedures as Sales Process Lead
  • Informing marketing activity
  • Taking responsibility for delivering sales targets
  • Finding, creating, collating and managing leads, especially through our technical employees
  • Taking leads through the sales cycle to POs
  • Identifying and supervising up-selling opportunities within new and existing accounts
  • Running our partner programme
  • Exploiting sales portals and platforms in the Private and Public sectors
  • Supervising tender processes, including standard and bespoke proposal development and delivery
  • Supporting Marketing and working closely with the Operations Team
  • Conducting sales analysis and supervising the production of sales MI for the Management Team and the Board
Experience/Track Record
  • At least 5 years’ experience and an excellent track record in technical sales in Energy and other CNI sectors
  • An existing network of contacts and potential clients to leverage
  • Experience of both writing formal bids and ‘winning’ sales proposals
  • Leading the sales process in line with ISO 9001 standards
  • OT engineering and/or cyber security knowledge would be an advantage
