A global manufacturing and distribution business in Sheffield is seeking a French or German Speaking Customer Service Representative for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role involves receiving and processing customer orders, ensuring effective communication, and assisting with customer service activities.   • Ensuring all orders are entered into the ERP by cut-off time.
  • Assisting with customer service activities pertaining to shipping and inventory.
  • Identifying customer issues for escalation in a timely manner.
  • Building relationships with internal departments for best service.

French or German Speaking Customer Service Representative - Sheffield - Up to £29,000 (Hybrid)

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities
  • Receiving customer orders via incoming mail, telephone, and/or electronic contact regarding the organisation's products and/or services
  • Working to ensure all orders received are entered into the ERP by order cut-off time
  • Assisting with reviewing and coordinating customer service activities pertaining to shipping, plant schedules, inventory levels, and sales activities by reviewing reports, orders, shipments, and other information as required or directed by management
  • Identifying customer issues that need to be escalated to management in a timely fashion
  • Developing and reviewing correspondence and documentation as appropriate regarding interaction with customers and responds to questions and concerns
  • Building relationships with internal departments to ensure best service to end customer is achieved
Required Skills & Experience
  • Language skills: German or French
  • Proven customer service experience within a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships
  • IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage etc
