JOB TITLE Customer Service Representative
REPORTING TO Customer Service Team Leader
RESPONSIBLE FOR This role has no employees reporting to it
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This role will impact on the success of the company through the accurate capture and processing of orders to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
The role will ensure:
- High levels of customer service are maintained
- Calls are answered on a timely basis
- Effective communication when dealing with all customer calls
- Customer Order details are accurately recorded and entered onto the database as required
- Effective liaison with hauliers via phone / email with respect to customer orders despatch
- Effective liaison with despatch to process customer orders through production
- Customer queries are effectively dealt with or passed to the appropriate personnel
- Predictive ordering
- Requesting of prescriptions for medicated feed as when required
- Post duties are carried out as required
- Accurate generation of purchase orders in line with sales requirements
- Purchase invoices are followed up as required
- Order amendments are updated on the database
- Day to day reception duties
- All company policy is complied with and supported
- All Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
- Personal training and development needs are identified with supervisor
- All relevant training is attended
- Induction, company training and appraisal is supported as required
- Any other duties are carried out as appropriate

Experience

- At least 1 years work experience in similar role
- Must be IT proficient
Desirable
- Experience in a customer services environment
- Experience in the use of an order processing database
Circumstances
- A flexible approach to work is required
- Able to work in a busy office environment
