Customer Service Assistant – Global Mobile

Salary: £25,167.48 per annum

Location: Global

Hours: Full Time - 39 Hours/week

Please note whilst this role will be a global mobile role and you will be expected to work in all NAAFI locations worldwide such as Gibraltar, Germany, Ascension, Falklands and Polandon a 2 year rotation.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for customer service by delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. You will support your establishment team in achieving targets while consistently upholding high standards across all areas of the business. Your role will involve promoting and safeguarding the NAAFI brand, ensuring both customers and colleagues enjoy a positive and memorable NAAFI experience. Integrity and respect will be central to all aspects of your daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Provide proactive, courteous, friendly, and helpful service to customers.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and professional conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards, including manual handling practices.
  • Actively promote NAAFI products and sales by offering advice to customers and responding to their feedback to enhance sales and brand reputation.
  • Accurately process payments for goods and food using various payment methods.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with Food Safety and HACCP regulations.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels, adhering to legal requirements and NAAFI standards for quality and presentation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the premises, completing tasks outlined in cleaning rotas and schedules.
  • Support colleagues with daily, weekly, and monthly outlet tasks as directed by schedules or management.
  • Perform driving duties as needed.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities within the scope of the role, including other tasks requested by NAAFI to support business operations and service delivery.
Requirements for the role of Customer Service Assistant:
  • At least 2 years demonstratable Customer Service experience and the ability to communicate effectively with people
  • Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Valid Manual UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Must be able to gain relevant security clearance
