Job summary

A dynamic service organization in the UK is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant. This role involves providing excellent customer service, resolving complaints, and supporting customers before and after their purchases. Candidates should have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, strong communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and be IT proficient. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by answering incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Make outgoing calls to update customers on their orders.
  • Investigate and resolve a wide range of complaints.
  • Log complaints on the system and elevate to the relevant department.
  • Welcome and support customers visiting the site.
  • Organise Service Engineers' schedules and arrange customer visits.
  • Book courier services such as TNT.
  • Develop technical knowledge of our products to better assist customers.
