A prominent animal welfare organization in the UK is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative. The role involves providing exceptional service to clients while supporting the rehoming of dogs and cats. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in customer service, emotional resilience, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy. Location: Battersea site at Brands Hatch, Battersea Dogs & Cats, Crowhurst Lane, Ash, Kent, TN15 7HH. Battersea dogs & cats aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need. We give each one lots of love, expert care and get to know their characters and quirks so we can find them a new home that’s just right.
Provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external Battersea customers at all times, promoting the values and work of the organisation. Undertake basic rehoming duties and support the rehoming function of the Brands Hatch dog and cat rehoming teams.
The ideal candidate has significant experience working within a demanding customer service environment and experience of receiving or responding to customer feedback. Ability to handle emotive situations with tact, diplomacy, and empathy.
