A leading logistics provider in Northampton is seeking a Customer Service Advisor. Duties include answering customer queries, scheduling deliveries, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and communication skills, and be comfortable working on the phone. The position offers £12.21 per hour and could become permanent after an initial 12-week period.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Email.

  • Handle inbound customer calls related to delivery queries.

Overview

Location: Northampton (NN5)

Position: Customer Service Advisor

Shift: Friday to Tuesday, 11:00–20:00 on Fridays and 08:00–17:00 Saturday to Tuesday

Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeks.

  • Handle inbound customer calls related to queries around the delivery of their goods
  • Speak with delivery drivers, schedule their next drop, and/or confirm arrival at a customer location
  • Book in deliveries with customers
  • Write emails to customers
  • Update and maintain the database with address details or updates on queries
