Overview

VANRATH has partnered with a long-term client in the electrical wholesale sector. This client is seeking a Customer Service Administrator for the Belfast branch. The team is expanding due to continued growth and investment.

This is a full-time, permanent role. Monday to Friday with no weekend requirements.

Salary:
£28,000 Salary + Growth/Progression Opportunities & Great Benefits

Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Handle customer inquiries from initial contact through to final order fulfilment.
  • Accurately process orders and oversee their progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing outstanding service and after-sales support.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing and maintaining accurate customer and order records.
  • Assist the team by managing incoming telephone calls and directing them as needed.

Goods Returns

  • Receive and log returned items in line with company procedures.
  • Inspect returned goods for damage, faults, or inconsistencies and determine the appropriate next steps (e.g., restocking, repair, replacement, or disposal).
  • Ensure all return transactions are accurately documented within the system.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Warehouse teams to resolve return-related issues efficiently.
  • Prepare and issue Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and credit notes when applicable.
  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding warranty claims and defective product returns or replacements.
