Customer Experience Associate

Hours: 8:00‑16:00, Monday‑Friday, plus every other Saturday (working from home).
Location: On‑site (Outskirts of Chelmsford) – Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle are essential to get to the remote location.

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, computer‑literate customer champion who loves solving problems, understands the importance of data accuracy, and responds promptly with empathy and clarity. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy guiding customers to the right product or resolution, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do
  • Prioritise and respond to customer inquiries across email, chat, instant messaging, and phone with timely, professional, and personable communication.
  • Own the customer record: maintain clean, accurate data while safeguarding confidentiality in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Check orders & investigate issues: verify order details, track progress, and keep customers informed.
  • Recommend products: tailor suggestions to customer needs, adding value and building loyalty.
  • Resolve complaints: diagnose, de‑escalate, and resolve with fairness‑delivering outcomes that exceed expectations while following company policies.
We’re looking for
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with strong accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping.
  • Computer‑literate, confident with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, Outlook/Teams, and CRM systems).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication – clear, friendly, and customer‑centric.
  • Service excellence under time pressure: you prioritise well and respond quickly.
  • Understanding of GDPR and commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
  • Team player who’s proactive, organised, and dependable.
