Job summary

A leading housing organization based in Cardiff is looking for a Compliance Manager. This role involves managing compliance in housing, driving forward renewable energy initiatives, and ensuring safety for customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of gas safety, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders. What is great about the role

This is a role with real impact. Youll be the person making sure our customers are safe in their homes while also driving forward renewable energy and low-carbon innovation. From gas servicing to solar panels heat pumps and battery storage youll oversee the systems that power our homes today and help us prepare for tomorrow.

Youll also have the opportunity to :
  • Lead innovation trials and embed new technologies into our homes.
  • Shape our approach to decarbonisation and sustainability.
  • Develop strong relationships with contractors technical partners and internal teams.
  • Influence service delivery across our diverse property portfolio.
Where does this role fit in

Youll join our Compliance Team and report to the Head of Compliance and Property Safety. Working closely with colleagues in housing care support sustainability and trades youll be the go to person for gas and renewable compliance. Youll collaborate with contractors and technical experts to keep standards high and our systems future ready. Youll have line management responsibility for relevant team members ensuring effective performance development and support within the compliance function.

What skills and experience do you need

Youll bring experience of managing compliance in housing or another regulated environment with a solid understanding of landlord responsibilities and the legislation that underpins safe homes. Alongside your knowledge of gas safety and renewable technologies youll be confident interpreting regulations and making them work in practice.

Youll combine strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to use data and asset systems to keep everything accurate and audit ready. Just as important are your communication skills. Youll be someone who can build strong relationships work collaboratively with colleagues and get the best out of contractors and technical partners.

What are the pay and benefits
  • This is a perm role for 37 hours per week. Salary is 57413
  • Base locations : SwanseaNewport orCardiff
  • This is a Hybrid role with essential in person collaboration Youll spend time within our communities and work closely with teams face to face to make a real area includes throughout South Wales and surrounding communities
  • Working pattern and flexibility Predominantly Monday to Friday with the option to request a compressed 9 day fortnight
