Overview
Work on Trials and Projects to increase customer loyalty. Improve processes to allow successful trials to integrate into the team as BAU. Interpret project results and succinctly present them to senior leadership. Ensure that promotional budget is optimally invested by running tests and analysing results. Drive customer behaviour.
As part of the Customer Insights team, enable decisions impacting every part of Lidl to be made based on data and insight. Work with Panel Data, Brand Tracking, Customer Satisfaction and Ad Hoc Research to find opportunities for growth. Study the drivers of Lidl\'s performance and benchmark to other retailers. Review product ranges to identify strong and weak items for Lidl and competitors. Develop customer engagement strategies and tactics which can be implemented across the entire business, within bespoke customer segments, or even for individual stores.
Responsibilities
- Work on trials and projects to increase customer loyalty and drive successful integration into business as usual.
- Interpret project results and present succinct insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure the promotional budget is optimally invested by running tests and analysing results.
- Drive customer behaviour and inform decisions with data and insight from the Customer Insights team.
- Collaborate with Panel Data, Brand Tracking, Customer Satisfaction and Ad Hoc Research to identify growth opportunities.
- Study drivers of Lidl\'s performance and benchmark against other retailers.
- Review product ranges to identify strong and weak items for Lidl and competitors.
- Develop customer engagement strategies and tactics for the whole business, specific segments, or individual stores.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:2 degree (in any discipline), awarded in 2024, 2025 or 2026, but must graduate by September 2026.
- Legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
- Already live or willing to relocate within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Head Office in Tolworth, South West London.
- Passionate about the food retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
- Assertive and confident in communication.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Confident making tough decisions and coping with targets and deadlines.
- Business-minded, commercially savvy and resilient.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Available to attend the assessment day on 11.12.2025.
