A leading beverage distributor is seeking a Customer Development Executive in the North East to manage sales growth within Convenience stores. This full-time role offers a salary of £29,750 plus a 20% bonus, a company vehicle, and fuel card. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in Direct Sales or FMCG, and a passion for retail. Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
In this role as Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Carlsberg Britvic market share within your defined territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will drive sales of our fantastic portfolio of Beers, Ciders and Soft Drinks by maximising brand availability and visibility in Symbol and Independent stores.
This is a unique opportunity to join this exciting partnership, where we will equip you with the necessary tools, training, and support to succeed.
Working with a Regional Sales Manager, and selling our amazing Soft Drinks and Beers portfolio, you will be responsible for making face‑to‑face contact with Convenience (Symbol & Independent) retailers, establishing and retaining new business opportunities, and delivering a business plan for your territory focused on maximising sales opportunities.
Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 pts or previous bans), all offers will be subject to successful completion of a DVLA licence check.
