Pay starts from £13.35 an hour; increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering your part of the customer shopping trip:

  • Ensure the van and trays are clean and tidy; keep organised
  • Leave the back yard clean and free of rubbish; pick up litter
  • Wash trays as part of the tray wash process
  • Load the van as required and check van roadworthiness
  • Talk to the customer about changes to their order, offer refunds for issues
  • Take care of products/deliveries as if their own
  • Explain substitutions to the customer and ensure they are not charged extra
  • Deliver within the customer’s time slot
  • Call the customer before arriving if early
  • Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late
Requirements

  • Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations
  • Share ideas with Management to improve the store
  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
