Permanent – Full time

Location: Farmborough (We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time)

Salary: A competitive salary from £22,932 - £24,400, depending on the experience you can bring.

As a Customer Consultant you will provide a first-class service to our customers through inbound and outbound telephony calling offering and promoting services and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for all inbound customer enquiries relating to Aegon Financial Planning services and products.
  • Seek to resolve customer complaints where possible using agreed and appropriate processes and procedures.
  • Identify Customers’needs outside of the core enquiry by promoting further and appropriate products and services.
  • Stepping outside of role to support department on projects.

  • You have PC skills to navigate multiple systems efficiently whilst speaking to our members.
  • You have an awareness of risks associated within the Financial Services Industry.
  • You’ve got experience in customer service (contact centre, face-to-face, helpdesk – that kind of thing)
  • You can put yourself in a customer’s shoes, taking ownership and working flexibly to meet their expectations.

  • We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
