This new leadership role sits within the Commercial and Marketing department, focussed on driving engagement, commercial value & retention across both our Connectivity & Hospitality businesses (1-100 employees).

What You’ll Do
  • Ownership to mould a brand-new team encompassing end-to-end planning, delivery & analysis of base management for Sky Business
  • Quantify the commercial opportunity for growth within the existing customer base (driven by product holding as well as retention improvements)
  • Highlight the key performance indicators (KPIs) which we should be affecting in our approach
  • Develop a base management marketing strategy to support our wider commercial goals
  • Identify the tactics required to deliver the new base management marketing strategy, including media channels, budgets & testing against hypotheses
  • Build an annual marketing plan to pull out the key campaigns & performance forecasts
  • Work alongside our Brand & Messaging, Marketing Operations & Insight teams to ensure our creative, data analytics & customer insight deliveries line up with the plan
  • Partner with our media agency / media partners to develop new approaches to improve cost efficiencies & drive growth
  • Own the development & delivery of campaigns designed to improve customer value generated from our marketing
  • Support in-quarterly planning & marketing performance impacts based on comparable historic performance & future forecasting
  • Support in weekly trading meeting preparation and evaluation of performance vs. plans
  • The role will be supported by marketing managers
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience of delivering base management & associated marketing within a matrix organisation
  • Proven track record of successfully operating an ‘end-to-end’ approach within a performance focussed organisation
  • Understanding of the importance of using data to improve marketing efficiencies across our base activities
  • The ability to think on your feet and be comfortable making decisions based on marketing and market experience in UK B2B telecoms
  • An innovative but pragmatic thinker that will think creatively and drive continuous improvement to deliver the best commercial outcomes for the business
  • Strong numeracy and commercial literacy. Ability to understand business cases and to size market opportunities as needed – backed by robust insight and data
  • Expert user of customer insight: working with and distilling multiple and disparate insights and data sources into compelling and actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with ability to influence and confidently lead discussions at all levels from front line to senior management
  • Experience of team & people management
