Responsibilities
  • Join the Curriculum Leadership Team at the flagship City Hub campus as Curriculum Manager for Health and Social Care.
  • Lead and drive curriculum development and innovation across a wide breadth of provision (pre-16 through to Higher Education) for up to 1000 students.
  • Provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment, supporting the Curriculum Leadership team to deliver outstanding value‑driven leadership in development, management and delivery of a fast-paced, customer-facing curriculum area.
  • Support cross‑faculty collaboration by liaising with other faculties, support services, admissions, English and maths, and pastoral services to enhance the learner experience.
  • Lead in driving improvements in teaching and learning to achieve good and better outcomes for students; lead curriculum innovations; and demonstrate strong people management and line management skills.
  • Support the learner progression by developing opportunities for progression and readiness for employment.
  • Ensure alignment with the person specification and apply essential and desirable criteria during the application stage.
Requirements
  • Proven people management experience in inspiring a large curriculum team in a dynamic educational setting.
  • Experience in applying leadership to curriculum development and student outcomes.
  • Ability to liaise across faculties and student support services to support the learner experience.
  • Strong commitment to creating a stable, collaborative work culture and engaging colleagues to achieve outstanding student outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive improvements in teaching and learning.
