A regional law enforcement agency is seeking a Culture and Inclusion Lead to spearhead their strategy, ensuring fairness and respect in policing. The role demands strategic leadership experience along with a degree and extensive knowledge in equality and diversity. You will guide senior leaders and be instrumental in shaping policy while enjoying a competitive salary, hybrid working, and various benefits including leave entitlement and training opportunities.
A permanent hybrid working role, 37 hours per week, earning from £64,650 to £72,972 a year. Working hours can be flexibly reduced for part‑time applicants.
You will lead the Force’s Culture and Inclusion strategy, ensuring fairness, respect and inclusion are embedded in all aspects of policing. Working within the Deputy Chief Constable’s portfolio, you will shape, deliver and continuously improve equality objectives, annual reporting and policy integration. You will advise senior leaders, influence strategic direction and represent the organisation at national and regional forums.
Strategic leadership experience with a degree (or equivalent level 6) and specialist knowledge of equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights. Preferable qualifications or professional membership such as the Institute of Equality & Diversity Practitioners. Strong evidence‑driven facilitation skills, confident working with senior leaders, and an inclusive, adaptive communication approach.
Starting salary negotiable based on knowledge, experience and high calibre talent. Relocation allowance will be considered. Supportive, forward‑thinking leadership team with continuous learning.
