Job summary

A healthcare imaging service in the UK is seeking a Senior CT Radiographer to expand their cross-sectional imaging teams. In this role, you will perform advanced CT examinations, support junior staff, and contribute to service development. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and be HCPC registered with substantial CT experience. Are you an experienced CT Radiographer ready to take the next step in your career? We're expanding our cross-sectional imaging teams across Sussex and are looking for a Senior CT Radiographer to join our high-performing, patient-centred imaging service., As a Senior CT Radiographer you will provide advanced CT imaging across our centres and mobile units, acting in a senior capacity during shifts and ensuring safe, efficient workflows. You will:



  • Perform a wide range of CT examinations, including contrast-enhanced studies

  • Review and assess image quality, escalating urgent findings appropriately

  • Support Radiographers and junior staff through coaching and clinical guidance

  • Contribute to protocol development, justification and clinical decision-making

  • Administer contrast under PGDs and clinical protocols

  • Maintain safe, clean, patient‑focused environments

  • Lead or support service development, audit and quality improvement activity

  • HCPC registered Radiographer

  • Minimum 1 year UK radiography experience + 2 years CT experience

  • Proven CT competence and commitment to high-quality patient care

  • Ability to work autonomously within a 7‑day rota

  • Clear pay & progression: £40,000‑£48,000 + £1,000 uplift for new Senior hires joining before April 2026
