A leading NHS hospital in Ipswich seeks an experienced CT Lead Radiographer to manage daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and support staff development within a high-performing CT service. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Radiographer to take on a key leadership role as CT Lead Radiographer within our dynamic Imaging Department.
You’ll oversee the day-to-day management of our busy CT service at Ipswich Hospital and upcoming community diagnostic centre. Working closely with the CT Manager, you’ll ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging services that deliver excellent patient care and meet national and local targets.
This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends specialist clinical expertise with service management, staff development, and innovation. You’ll manage workflows, support staff, plan CT waiting lists, and drive service improvements.
We’re passionate about learning and development, so you’ll play a key part in training, mentoring and supervising new staff, students, and apprentices, as well as introducing new CT examinations and techniques. In return, you’ll be supported in your own professional growth through leadership and CPD opportunities including Trust leadership programmes available including other bite size training courses.
