Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer for CT at UHDB. This is an opportunity for anyone who wishes to join our large and friendly team. The post holder should already possess excellent patient care skills and be ready and willing to learn the complex modality of CT while continuously learning and supporting our team. The vacancy will allow the successful candidates to work at all UHDB (University hospitals of Derby and Burton) sites. The post will be based at the Queens Hospital Burton Site and include rotation to some or all of our CDC Sites, including Sir Robert Peel at Tamworth, Ilkeston Community Hospital and Florence Nightingale Community Hospital.
Main duties of the job
We provide CT scans using state of the art GE CT scanners covering a wide range of diagnostic examinations including CTCs and Cardiac. The post holder will join our large and friendly team, and quickly become an integral part of our expanding service. The CT services are operational 7 days a week. The post holder will be expected to take part in out-of-hours work including on-call.
