Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with a strong CSA background to lead the quality function on a high-specification data centre project. This critical role involves developing and managing quality processes and ensuring that all civil, structural, and architectural works are delivered to the highest industry and client standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Management Plan and ensure full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ISO standards.
  • Lead quality assurance and control activities across all CSA packages, including concrete works, structural steel, architectural finishes, cladding, and associated civil infrastructure.
  • Supervise the QA/QC team and provide support to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters.
  • Review and approve subcontractor quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and material submissions.
  • Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
  • Manage NCRs, observations, and corrective action processes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues and manage inspections.
  • Oversee the collation of QA/QC documentation for system handover, including test packs, red-line drawings, and O&M manuals.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and leadership to promote a culture of quality on site.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years' experience in QA/QC roles with at least 3 years in a management capacity on major construction projects.
  • Proven experience with CSA packages on mission-critical or large-scale builds (data centres, pharma, healthcare, or similar).
  • In-depth understanding of quality standards, building codes, and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in quality management tools and documentation platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Aconex, Procore).
  • [Optional: Internal Auditor certification, NEBOSH, or other relevant QA/QC qualifications.]
