Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Strategy Director to join our Strategy & Planning team. In this role, you will lead the strategic direction for one of our accounts in the automobile industry and help shape the future of our agency’s data-driven marketing and communications strategies. You’ll work closely with clients, senior teams, and internal departments to drive growth, deliver measurable business results, and set the standard for strategic excellence both internally and across the industry.

We are open to candidates who are willing to work from either our London or Bristol office on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy development for key CRM accounts, defining and implementing strategic directions that address client challenges and deliver tangible commercial value.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Strategy & Planning to build, mentor, and retain a world-class team of strategists and planners.
  • Refine and optimize the agency’s Strategy & Planning platform, creating an environment that allows the team to deliver at its full potential.
  • Act entrepreneurially to drive EMEA growth by activating the agency proposition and productizing strategic offerings, particularly in data strategy.
  • Champion the visibility and understanding of Strategy & Planning across the agency and wider industry, contributing your voice and expertise to thought leadership initiatives.
  • Utilize data, customer insight, and cultural understanding to create strategies that deliver measurable impact across marketing funnels.
  • Lead pitches, RFIs, and other business development opportunities to drive agency growth.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Strategy Director, agency-side, leading CRM strategy for large client accounts.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative, data-driven marketing strategies that generate tangible business results.
  • Expertise in leveraging customer insight and data to inform creative, strategic, and communications planning.
  • Strong ability to build and nurture senior client relationships, with a history of successful account growth.
  • Exceptional team leadership and people management skills, fostering collaboration and development across teams.
  • Talented front-of-room performer with excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving growth, including leading pitches and RFIs.
  • Collaborative, agile, and hands-on approach, able to roll up your sleeves and lead by example.
