A healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Critical Care Outreach Practitioner to join the expanding team. The role involves providing high standards of care to acutely unwell patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and teaching clinical skills. Critical Care Outreach Practitioner CNS, Band 7. Permanent 37.5 hours per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse with critical care/acute clinical and leadership experience to join our Critical Care Outreach team (CCOT) as we expand our service to provide 24/7 cross site cover. The successful applicant will join a supportive and dynamic team, leading on delivering high standards of care to acutely unwell patients across our site. CCOT teams are a nurse led service supported by the critical care consultant team. You will have the opportunity to work both as a team and independently, identifying patients at risk of clinical deterioration or who are deteriorating and ensuring their needs are prioritised with appropriate assessment, intervention and ongoing management. Teaching and delivering education to ward teams is an essential part of the role, together with leading deteriorating patient quality improvement work across site.
We will provide learning opportunities to develop clinical skills within the CNS role.
