Overview

We are looking for experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to join our busy and dynamic 18‑beded General Intensive Care Unit/High Dependency Unit, caring for a wide range of medical, surgical, emergency, and elective patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a skilled, motivated team working in a fast‑paced and rewarding environment where no two days are the same. Responsibilities
  • Fixed Term Maternity Leave cover ending June 2026.
  • Ensure that the care of the critically ill adult is planned, implemented and evaluated following best practice.
  • Act as a positive role model, display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and act as an expert practitioner, caring for the critically ill adult and their families towards recovery or providing end‑of‑life care.
  • Be a role model to other members of the MDT and a resource for junior colleagues.
  • Adhere to the NMC Code of practice at all times.
