Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Case Finalisation Administrator in Exeter to support the criminal justice system by updating databases and handling the disposal of seized property. Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Case Finalisation Administrator to work for Devon and Cornwall Police and work at Hawkins House in Exeter

This role will be working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - 37 hours a week.

ROLE PURPOSE

To support the effective delivery of key aspects of the criminal justice system within Devon and Cornwall. In particular, to :

  • Update the Force Crime Database (CIS) and the Police National Computer in relation to non-court disposals including Sanction Detections such as conditional cautions, cautions, PNDs, cannabis warnings, warnings, reprimands and final warnings and other non-court disposals such as 'No Further Action', in line with legislation, Force and HMIC recommendations
  • Administer the return, disposal or destruction of seized property to victims and the accused, in line with CPIA guidelines.
  • Complete the finalisation of files on the conclusion of the case, ensuring the submission of correct paperwork to meet the relevant quality criteria.
