Credit Hire Recoveries Handler

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Chorley - Office Based

Up to £30k DOE + Monthly Bonus

We are actively looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Recoveries Handler to join our client's growing team based in Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within motor claims, working in a supportive environment with clear progression opportunities.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of motor recoveries claims, negotiating settlements and making informed decisions to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.

Credit Hire Recoveries Handler Responsibilities:

  • Manage credit hire claims from beginning through to settlement, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, solicitors, and other stakeholders, providing clear updates and maintaining strong working relationships throughout the claims process.
  • Record, update, and maintain accurate claim documentation and correspondence, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during the claims process, using negotiation skills and sound judgement to achieve positive resolutions.
  • Collect and assess supporting evidence such as witness statements, photographs, and documentation, in order to strengthen claims.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into liability and quantum to evaluate prospects for recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies, including Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Work towards and achieve personal and team performance targets, contributing to overall departmental success.
