Overview

Timloc Building Products is a British manufacturer supplying merchant customers for over 60 years. We manufacture and supply sustainable building products from ground level right up to the roof ridge, from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Howden, East Yorkshire offering our merchant customers a broad product portfolio supported by industry leading next day service.

The Role: Credit Controller

Responsibilities
  • Managing and updating customer master data profiles
  • Processing customer payments in a timely manner
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and disputes
  • Building strong relationships with customers to secure timely payments
  • Performing credit evaluations on new and existing customers
  • Responding promptly to customer queries
  • Collaborating with the customer service team to resolve issues
  • Generating reports for the wider business
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in credit control and/or accounts payable
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly by both telephone and email
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamic Business Central (or similar ERP system) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Problem solving skills
Remuneration & Benefits

Remuneration: Up to £35,000 per annum

Benefits: Company pension

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Location: Office based only

Supplemental pay types: Annual bonus
